Meadow Rise Farm is 44 acres, located in Knox, NY, in the Helderberg Mountains outside of Albany. Our land is divided equally in space between the woods and the meadows. We believe in the principles of regenerative organic agriculture. In regenerative agriculture, "the idea is to create farm systems that work in harmony with nature to improve quality of life for every creature involved” and the number one priority in regenerative organic agriculture is soil health"
While our small farm is not certified organic, our farm is a member and proud supporter of the work done by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York, or NOFA-NY. We feed our animals certified organic grains and follow many organic practices.

The Farmer's Pledge is a commitment by farmers to farming that assures healthy food, strong local economies, fair working conditions and wages, humane treatment of animals, and care of the land. As well as our commitment to the organic movement. It confirms that we take an environmentally responsible, ecologically sound, holistic approach to farming.
Turkey - Pre-Order Only
$30 deposits accepted for broad breasted white turkeys. Will be ready in October. Estimated weight 15-25 pounds, $6 per pound. Raised on pasture, supplemented with organic grain.
Pork Shares - Pre-Order Only
Accepting deposits for whole and half pig shares. Pork will be available in March.
Whole Pig:
Price: $5.75 per pound of hanging weight; average hanging weight is 200 pounds. Expect to take home 170 pounds pork based on the cuts you select. Butcher fees included.
Deposit $400
Half Pig:
Price: $6.00 per pound of hanging weight; average hanging weight is 100 pounds. Expect to take home 85 pounds of pork based on the cuts you select. Butcher fees included.
